Winds of Change North Asia applications open
Applications are now open for the 2023 Winds of Change North Asia programme. Winds of Change is a network of future leaders in climate change resilience based in New Zealand and China, and New Zealand in Chile. This year, the Winds of Change programme will bring together postgraduate students and young professionals from New Zealand and China to investigate common climate change issues and sustainable development strategies for the future.
Running from June to November 2023, the programme will feature virtual and in-person workshops (participants based in China will attend online), a fieldtrip for New Zealand-based participants, development of a group project relevant to climate change science and/or sustainable business, and an end-of-year symposium to present your project outcomes to a wider audience, including international stakeholders.
Applications are open until midnight (NZST) on Monday 24 April 2023.
Our Latin American Winds of Change programme now has 79 alumni across Chile and Aotearoa New Zealand, as well as many former mentors and speakers who have made invaluable contributions to the programme. In 2023, we will be focusing on consolidating the existing network, and will not be recruiting new participants.
