The 4th New Zealand ASEAN Business Alliance Conference will bring speakers from New Zealand and Southeast Asia over two days on 22nd and 23rd November with the theme of “Open. Connect. Balance”.

The two sessions will cover:

Day 1: Emerging Exports – Fresh Thinking and New Value (hybrid event)

Day 2: Foundation Value Chains – New Connections and Opportunities (online only)

Speakers from New Zealand and across ASEAN will be speaking both in person, and virtually from Jakarta, Auckland, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok on a range of foundation and emerging business issues, including;

  • sustainability; people, construction and financial models
  • value chains; connecting ASEAN and your business
  • the future of food
  • what drives an ASEAN consumer?
  • retail in ASEAN; current and future trends
  • cross-border expansion; tips and tricks.

The first session will be held in-person simultaneously in 5 countries — New Zealand, Singapore, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Vietnam. New Zealand’s session will be held at ANZ Centre in Auckland. ABA Chambers in the other Southeast Asian locations will be sharing details of their events later.

The ABA Conference is organised by The New Zealand ASEAN Business Alliance (ABA), in partnership with the Southeast Asia CAPE and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The ASEAN Business Alliance is a network of the NZ Chambers and business association in NZ and ASEAN: ASEAN NZ Business Council, NZ Singapore Chamber, NZ Thai Chamber, NZ Malaysia Chamber, NZ Vietnam Chamber, ANZCHAM Philippines, Indonesia NZ Business Steering Group.
