On the morning of 17 August, before New Zealanders discovered that we would need to head into lockdown at midnight, business leaders gathered to explore the journey of Kiwi firm New Zealand New Milk Ltd in China.

NZ New Milk was created through a partnership between Kai Zhang and David Spurway. Kai and David shared their inspiring story, including challenges and close calls along the way where they almost did not make it.

The ‘China Business Breakfast’ series, co-hosted by North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence and the New Zealand China Trade Association, provides a platform for business leaders to share their China journeys with their peers.
