Register for the Winds of Change North Asia Symposium
7 November 2023
We are excited to be hosting the Winds of Change North Asia Symposium on 6 December 2023. Register for free tickets to attend either in person at the University of Auckland, or online.
The Winds of Change North Asia programme unites postgraduate students and young professionals from Aotearoa New Zealand and China, to investigate common climate change issues and explore how sustainable development strategies can be created for the future.
At the Symposium, participants will share the results of their collaborative projects, in the areas of flooding and extreme weather events, biodiversity credit schemes, and food packaging.
The projects show how Asia-Pacific knowledge and collaboration help us to tackle shared climate change issues and increase well-being in both countries. Our website will be updated with details about the projects ahead of the Symposiums. You can view last year’s projects on our website here.
The Symposium will take place on Wednesday 6 December in person and online at these times:
• New Zealand: 12.30pm to 4pm (NZDT)
• China: 7.30am to 11am (CST)
When you register, we will send you a confirmation email with further information on how to join the Symposium, and closer to the event we will send a detailed programme.
