NZ Professionals Learn Korean at NA CAPE’s K-Hub in Auckland Central
26 August 2022
NA CAPE wrapped up its 10-week Korean programme at Ellen Melville Centre (EMC) on 16 August 2022.
Six New Zealand professionals with background in IT, banking, health and education were recognised for completing the course, each of whom delivered a short presentation about themselves and their families in Korean. The group also showcased their basic Korean skills by singing 3 songs in Korean with their teacher, Jiyeon Choi.
After the presentations, attendees had a networking opportunity with Korean alumni of the Korean Education Centre (KEC), who shared about how learning Korean has positively impacted their career and personal journeys.
The Korean programme at EMC is part of NA CAPE’s wider Korean learning, networking and resource hub, organised in partnership with Auckland Central Library, Korean Education Centre and Korean Language and Cultural Centre (KLCC).
