In July 2021, we partnered with Young Enterprise Trust to deliver our LatAm Biz: Entrepreneurship in Latin America Domestic Programme that took a group of year 12 and 13 business students around the country. The programme helps develop young NZ entrepreneurs’ knowledge and awareness of Latin America and introduces them to opportunities and challenges of doing business in the region.

During the 10-day programme, students visited businesses engaged in Latin America, met NZ Inc. representatives from MFAT and NZTE, participated in cultural activities and language classes and completed a business challenge that had been set for them. Throughout the programme we engaged in tough conversations that challenged the students’ ideas of identity and stereotypes.
