To celebrate Aotearoa Spanish Language Week 2023, the School of Languages and Cultures at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington and Latin America Centre for Asia-Pacific Excellence are inviting year 12 and year 13 high school students of Spanish to step into a world of excitement and discovery for a free on-campus Spanish Day on Wednesday, 16 August! Through attending interactive workshops led by academic staff, learning new skills, meeting like-minded students and hearing from our current students, this half-day experience will build students’ passion for Spanish and their understanding about its practical relevance in a wide range of contexts, including careers!

Please note, this event is by registration only and is specifically aimed at Year 12 and 13 high school Spanish students. There is no cost to attend however attendees are to organise transport at their own cost.
