David Turner’s origin story began at the University of Otago where he was among the first residential assistants at Toroa House, the University’s first hall of residence dedicated to international students. After making friends there from around the globe, he spent a year studying law in Singapore. He subsequently spent almost a decade working in Singapore’s public service, where his work included liaising with international financial reporting regulators. David would love to see more New Zealanders engaging meaningfully with the Asia-Pacific, and is excited to contribute to this by connecting international tertiary students and academic expertise to schools and leaders throughout Aotearoa.
