On 13 November, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced the substantive conclusion of negotiations to upgrade ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA), which aims to modernise it, further reduce barriers impacting exports, and boost trade in the region.
