In November 2021, we held our Globalistas-in-Action (GiA) 2021 programme and it was amazing to have students, businesses, and academics together all in one space to continue strengthening the ties between Aotearoa New Zealand and Latin America.

The purpose of GiA was to bring together our Globalistas, or alumni from our 9 LatAm Biz programmes who have gone to Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Argentina and around the country to meet Kiwis exporting to Latin America. They participated in cultural activities, sat in on sessions on what’s currently going on in Latin America, and worked on a business challenge set by four businesses wanting to work with and enter into the region.
