CAPEs head to World Indigenous Business Forum in Colombia

A rōpū of six people composed of CAPEs staff from University of Waikato and Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington and three of our Te Hononga-ā-Kiwa programme are currently in Colombia this week to present at the World Indigenous Business Forum.
The rōpū plan to engage with Colombia’s indigenous Muisca people, hosts of the event that is on their ancestral lands. This is the first time since 2019 that the Forum has occurred in person following the COVID-19 pandemic.
The CAPEs Māori Business project lead Nathan Rahui (Ngāti Whātua, Ngāpuhi) and Te Hononga-ā-Kiwa Māori Business alumni Luke Moss (Ngāti Maniapoto) are two delegates of the group, and spoke with Te Ao Māori News which you can watch below.
